Domino’s Pizza Thanks FansLast Updated: March 22, 2013
Domino’s Pizza has recently reached 8 million fans on Facebook, and so to say ‘Thank You’, they recorded and drew out the words using actual domino art and the power of YouTube. The video is not necessarily viral- posted on Domino’s video channel with roughly 35,000 views at the time of writing this article. However, the sentiment is very important when a brand deals with social media business, and the effort put in by Domino’s to make the video only demonstrates the necessity businesses have to show gratitude to their social media audiences. (After all, since they’ve made it to 8 million likes, they must be doing it right).
The video also showcases Domino’s latest updated logo design through the domino art. The only complaint that the audience on YouTube had was that a coupon wasn’t present with the video, but more responded that Domino’s had enough deals on the actual website that putting a coupon or anything along those lines within a YouTube clip would be pointless. Overall, this exemplifies good business practice when it comes to dealing with social media. Remember your Ps and Qs.Google+
