AGENT Digital Launch New St Gabriels Website

AGENT Digital is proud to announce the launch of the new website for St Gabriel’s School & Centre, which can be viewed at Based in Limerick, St Gabriel’s is a voluntary, not-for-profit provider of health-related therapies and education to children and young adults with disabilities, throughout the Mid-West. The new website is the latest manifestation of a long relationship between AGENT Digital and St Gabriel’s School & Centre, and we at AGENT Digital are very pleased with the website’s clean appearance and user-friendly accessibility.

The new St Gabriel’s School & Centre site is 100% search engine friendly and easy to update. The AGENT Digital team has streamlined the site’s easy to use CMS (content managment system), improving access to such distinctive features as the interactive 360-degree tours of the St Gabriel’s facilities.

Kate Sheahan, head of fundraising and development at St Gabriel’s School & Centre explained that when the centre was considering an upgrade of their website, they had identified a number of key objectives.

“What we wanted to do,” Kate said, “was to make our organisation more visible online; to create a friendly and welcoming ‘shop front’ for St Gabriel’s School & Centre, using visuals and images that aligned with the aims of the organisation”.

In doing so, St Gabriel’s had a broad, two-fold aim: to disseminate important information and raise awareness about activities at St Gabriel’s School & Centre, but also to create links and develop relationships about the organisation’s all-important fund-raising activities.

“We wanted to inform visitors to our website about the organisation and the range of disability services provided here; and also, for example, to make users of the hydrotherapy pool aware of opening times and group activities that take place in the pool. But it was also important that the site highlight our fundraising, and engage further donor support,” Kate said.

Among the new services on the website is a sign-up to a St Gabriel’s School & Centre Newsletter, so that subscribers can be kept abreast with developments at the facility via regular updates to their email inboxes.

Kate said the upgraded website had already helped to create greater awareness and accessibility in relation to St Gabriel’s School & Centre, and would support the organisation’s ongoing viral marketing efforts.

“St Gabriel’s School & Centre has been a client of AGENT Digital for more than seven years. During that time we have found the staff to be helpful and cooperative,” she said.
