Nike+ FuelBand: It Counts
Last Updated: January 24, 2012Nike recently unveiled a video promoting one of its new fitness devices, the Nike+ FuelBand. The FuelBand, when worn around the wrist, tracks your activity throughout the day and records how many calories you burn, through walking, running, dancing, playing sport or engaging in any form of physical activity. The video itself has collected more footage from sporting events, TV programmes and films than any other Nike advertisement in history. There’s activities such as Serena Williams dramatically returning a serve, Rocky chasing a chicken, Bruce Lee “nun-chucking” and David Brent dancing which all “count”, as opposed to lazing about like The Big Lebowski’s Dude or teleporting from one place to another in the style of Star Trek’s Spock, which do not “count”. How many films and TV references can you spot?
