Google Integrates Places and Zagat into Google+

Despite Google’s social media venture, Google+, failing to live up to expectations, it has not stopped Google investing in it. The latest step is scrapping the traditional form of Google Places which would list geographical  and service information of businesses, and incorporating it into Google+. The restaurant critic guide, Zagat, has also been integrated into Google+, with the effect being that Zagat scores shall be visible beside search results for restaurants. However, it is unlikely that these measures will see a rise in the number of users worthy of challenging Facebook.
