YouTube has recently reached a benchmark for it’s user count. The amount of YouTube users has now reached the 1 billion unique users per month mark, making YouTube on par with Facebook, and officially the second highest and most influential social media network. “Our monthly viewership is the equivalent of roughly ten Super Bowl audiences. If YouTube were a country, we’d be the third largest in the world after China and India,” YouTube had said on it’s blog. Sadly however, YouTube is often an overlooked service for smaller businesses. The advertising space before videos is one thing -that tends to get a negative reaction mind you- but you could also have a channel for a company.
