CoderDojo Coolest Projects draw European Coders to IrelandLast Updated: May 1, 2020
CoderDojo Coolest Projects 2016 and Launch’d are all set to welcome 10,000 entrepreneurs, young coders and innovators from Ireland and globally to their Dublin summit on June 18.
THE RDS Arena in Dublin is the venue on Saturday June 18, 2016, for what’s set to be one of Ireland’s largest startup events—and certainly one that will attract the broadest age range: CoderDojo Coolest Projects and its Launch’d initiative.
Best of all… while ticket-only, admission is free! But the precious tickets are disappearing fast for this golden opportunity for hundreds of young coders and innovators to showcase their innovations before an international audience.
CoderDojo Coolest Projects organised Launch’d as a springboard for the developments that will help shape the tech of the future, many of them developed in CoderDojo, the worldwide open source movement of coding clubs where young people learn how to code.
Here is a word from CoderDojo co-founders James Whelton and Bill Liao on how this global movement works.
At CoderDojo Coolest Projects 2016, hundreds of young coders from all over the globe will display their ideas, including apps, games and devices, in the hope of maximising the potential of their innovations.
Launch’d itself will see 100 of the most exciting new tech firms showcasing the standout features of their technology, so CoderDojo Coolest Projects 2016 is a dream proposition for a young tech entrepreneur seeking to make like-minded connections throughout the European Union.
These events provide startups with a dream opportunity to expose their products to a sizeable attendance that will include world-class mentors who have the advice and connections that will help grow and scale new business.
In addition, more than 30 speakers will share their wisdom at Coolest Projects 2016, including: Barry O’Reilly (founder of Lean Enterprises); Niamh Bushnell (Dublin Commissioner for Startups); Phillip Moynagh (VP of Internet of Things group at Intel); Bill Liao (co-founder CoderDojo); Eoin Costello (CEO of Startup Ireland); Emmet Connolly (director of Product Design, Intercom); Garry Lyons (chief innovation officer for MasterCard); and Patrick Barry (co-founder and CEO of VSWare).
Admission is free, but tickets are disappearing fast. Full details of admission are available here.
CoderDojo Coolest Projects and Launch’d are among numerous startup events taking place every month in all parts the world, where successful local and global innovators and investors share the lessons they have learned on the road to building great companies.
