Who are the Speakers?
OF THE 12 influential speakers set to deliver keynotes at TNW Momentum 2016, here are three of the most notable.
Danielle Morrill – Co-Founder and CEO, Mattermark
DANIELLE Morrill’s initial startup failure in 2012 led her to think about the factors that contribute to a young company’s quick demise. The data she had gathered was noticed by a number of investors, such as Marc Andreessen and Dave McClure. Morrill told them they could have the data by backing her seed round. More than three years later, Morrill runs Mattermark, a platform VC firms use to quantify signals of potentially lucrative startups.
Cal Henderson – Co-Founder and CTO, Slack
CAL Henderson is co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Slack, a tool dubbed ‘the email killer’. Slack has completely changed the way companies go about their business, and has a valuation of $3.8bn. The software, originally built with a focus on startups, is being used by companies such as Airbnb, Buzzfeed, Samsung and even Harvard University.
Steve Huffman – Co-Founder and CEO, Reddit
STEVE Huffman is a c0-founder and current CEO of the Internet’s front page, Reddit. At last May’s TNW Conference, Huffman caused some controversy when he claimed that if you’re a Redditor, Reddit knows “all of your interests. Not only the stuff you’re willing to declare publicly on Facebook. We know your dark secrets, we know everything”. This speech has been viewed more than 250,000 times on YouTube and debated by over 6,000 Redditors.
