Independent worldwide startup entrepreneurial community Startup Grind is all set for Startup Grind Europe 2016 in London. Taking place in Central Westminster Hall, one of the city’s largest conferencing venues, the event is keenly anticipated to be one of the most amazing programs for startups in the history of Startup Grind.
CENTRAL Westminster Hall in London is the beautiful venue on Wednesday June 15, 2016, for what is anticipated to be one of the most amazing startup programs ever hosted by organisers of the globe-spanning community for early stage businesses, Startup Grind Europe.
Startup Grind Europe is the world’s largest independent startup community: a worldwide, truly interactive ‘brains trust’ for entrepreneurs.
An independent global movement, Startup Grind aims to help fledgling entrepreneurs move their businesses forward, and make them part of a buzzing, vibrant, interactive community connecting over 400,000 entrepreneurs in 200 cities across the planet.
Startup Grind Europe gets under way early on June 15, opening at 7.30am for 8am breakfast, before Startup Grind founder and CEO Derek Anderson formally opens the day’s events.
Themes addressed on the main stage by a roster of distinguished speakers include: building the new work-life culture; how to survive the fallout of the Seed & Series A slump; how to make customers fall in love with your business; scaling business in Europe; how BlaBlaCar monopolized its niche; the on-demand economy; organising business for global scale; scaling innovation; and the story of charity:water.
Complimenting these events in the main hall throughout the day is a series of breakout sessions that will investigate such matters as the challenges and opportunities of creating a global category leader from the UK, how to seize digital opportunities in emerging markets; mentoring; business survival beyond seed stage; and a host of Q&As from different guests. There will also be a Dragon’s Den/Shark Tank style inquisition of selected startups, who will pitch their businesses and products to an expert panel of press, investors and founders.
Speakers at Startup Grind Europe include: Dave McClure (500 Startups); Julia Hurtz (Eventbrite); Nigel Barker (America’s Next Top Model); Scott Harrison (charity:water); William Shu (Deliveroo); Frederic Mazzella (BlaBlaCar); Sarah Drinkwater (Google for Entrepreneurs); Craig Donaldson (Metro Bank); Derek Andersen (Startup Grind); and Leela Srinivasan (Lever).
With a wrap-up from CEO Derek Anderson scheduled for 5.15, delegates and guests will then move to the foyer of the building for a closing reception, sponsored by AC Hotels Marriott and Accel.
There will be approximately 600 entrepreneurs and hundreds investors roaming Central Westminster Hall during the event. Full details of ticketing are available from here.
